DRIVER SKILLS
WHAT IS DRIVER SKILLS?
Driver Skills is a fun and exciting one-day course in the fundamentals of high performance driving. You'll get lots of seat time on a closed course, perfecting your technique with exercises designed to focus on essential high performance driving skills: looking ahead, weight balance, smooth inputs, threshold braking, and more. 1:1 coaching with highly trained instructors insures that Driver Skills has something to offer drivers at any experience level, from total novice to experienced track drivers.
The day's exercises include:
- Standard and advanced slalom courses
- Small and large diameter wet skidpads
- Braking and accident avoidance course
- Handling oval
- Autocross
- Figure 8 (winter skills day only)
- Depending on the number of instructors, an optional exercise on heel/toe shifting may also be available
