RSVP’s for exact head count must be received by July 15.
This will not be a ‘just drop in’ event.

Directions to Denny’s Hobby Shop will be sent before the event to those who RSVP.

11:30 Shine ’n Show Judging
3 p.m. Denny’s Retirement gathering
Picnic fare (bratwursts, sauerkraut, potato salad, chips and drinks) will be provided. You can bring your own potluck items if you wish. There will be grills available. There is plenty of space to show off your cars, the sun will be free and the best surprise of all is the private museum of our very own, legendary, wonderful and Retiring (At least that is what he says) Denny Aker. This collection is the result of the endless passion that Denny has for seemingly anything mechanical and includes airplanes, trains, bicycles and of course, Porsches.
To a lot of us he will always be simply Denny--always working on something and always ready to help. Denny will be available to answer questions, show us around and simply share his inimitable smile!
Don’t miss this wonderful gathering of fellow members and Porsches celebrating our region’s 50th anniversary and to honor Denny Aker and his transition into “Rewirement”.
Show & Shine
Shine up your car for the summer ‘Super Light’ Show & Shine on the lawn. Our concours aficionados will provide informal judging and concours prep instructions and tips for those who so desire. This is a great opportunity to enter a concours and try your luck with absolutely no pressure. Judges’ choice awards will be awarded.
