Please join us for this celebration of Spring and tasting delights as we’ll have a scenic 90 minute drive past productive farmlands, through mature forests and along scenic lake shores to two tasting delights. The first stop will be Chocolate Necessities, an award winning, artesian chocolate shop that uses Belgium chocolate to produce their own hand-made chocolate truffles. Owner and chocolatier Kevin Buck will guide us through the chocolate manufacturing process with demonstrations and sampling of their creations.

After satisfying your chocolate tooth, we’ll have a short drive north to BelleWood Acres for lunch in their private meeting room with views to their distillery. Order lunch off their country-styled café menu that includes specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, gourmets burgers or  breakfast omelets.

After lunch, members to pay a $10 fee (pay at the door) for a distillery tour and product sampling of the many different types of liquors that are made on-site using apples from their own orchards. This includes gin, vodka, brandy and Bruce (brandy and apple juice). Weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to drive your car into the blooming apple tree orchards to take photos of your Porsche (camera not included). Or you can stroll through their merchandising shop to purchase different varieties of apples, apple-based products (pies, hard-cider, liquor), view their art gallery while listening to a live bluegrass band perform that day.

This tour will be limited to just 25 members to ensure an intimate tasting experience at the two establishments.
