Join us for the North Cascades to Winthrop/Sun Mountain Lodge tour from Sept 30 to Oct 2nd
Registration opens on July 30th at 8 AM. Register early by clicking the "Register Here" box to avoid being placed on the waiting list or not being able to register if the tour sells out early! Hotel reservation information will be on MSR.
Once again we will be heading over the Cascades to enjoy the offerings of Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop. We have reserved a block of rooms at the lodge for a discounted rate for the weekend, or longer if you so choose.
The drive over on Friday will take us over the North Cascades Hwy with a stop at Washington Pass Overlook time and weather permitting. Friday evening will be on your own for a chance to explore the town of Winthrop or just stay and enjoy the amenities that the lodge has to offer.
Saturday we will be joined by a group of people from the Inland Northwest Region as we head out for the day to explore the area with your choice of two drives before a group dinner in downtown Winthrop.
Sunday is on your own after hotel checkout.
Schedule
Staging is at 8:00 AM, Sep 30th (This is subject to change based on arrival timing0
Arrive between 8:00 - 8:30 AM (but not later than 8:30!!)
Driver's meeting at 8:30 AM
First group departs at 9:00 AM, followed by other groups with 10 minutes spacing each
Plan for a picnic lunch in TBD enroute to Winthrop/Sun Mountain Lodge
Saturday: two tours around northeast Washington. Group evening dinner being planned in Winthrop. Pay-as-you-go.
Directions to start point
I-5 North or South to Marysville. Exit at 88th St NE and turn left or right (if coming from I-5 South) onto 88th Street. Right turn onto 34th Ave NE, then left onto Home Depot Drive. Panera Bread on the left.

Opens: July 30th at 8:00 AM
Closes: August 31st at midnight unless the tour sells out early--max of 30 cars.
