Tour Leader/Sweeper Training Class
Registration opens on Tues, Sep 1st at Noon. Register early by clicking the "Register Here" box. There is no limit on attendance.
This class will cover all aspects of how to effectively become a Group Lead or Sweep car, including how to effectively keep your group organized, considerations on how to keep your group together during the drive, effective radio communications within the group and between the lead and sweep cars, how to handle emergencies, etc.
This is REQUIRED TRAINING for anyone who wants to be a group lead or sweep on our driving tours. Current group leads and sweeps are also invited if you want a refresher course, especially for sweepers who want to become a group lead. It has been two years since the last lead/sweep training class and we are getting "thin" on trained leads and sweeps so we need your help to step up and continue to make our tours some of the best in PCA,

The training will be in the Indy lounge at Griot's Garage flagship store in Tacoma from 10:00 AM-Noon on Saturday, Sep 26th.
Address: Griot's Garage, 3333 South 38th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409
Directions: Take I-5 South (or North if you live south of Tacoma) and take the 38th St exit heading west. Turn Right at S. Lawrence St. Griots is immediately on your left. Turn Left just past the building into the parking lot. Follow it all the way around to the front of the store.
