Join your fellow PNWR members for a scenic drive north through Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties on SR9. After a brief break-stop in Welcome, we'll continue eastward on SR542 to Artist Point. Linger at the summit admiring the stunning views of Mt Shuksan and Mt. Baker or take a short hike on one of the various trails along the ridges for more photographic opportunities. After a short break, we'll make our way down SR542 approx. 13 miles to Glacier for lunch between 12:45 - 3:00 pm at Milano's Restaurant (360-599-2863) for some Italian fare. Milano's will be open only for us and will have a special Porsche Themed Lunch from which you can order entrees and desserts from. At the conclusion of lunch, you're free to make your way home south via SR9/I-5 or drive to Bellingham and take the beautiful SR11 (Chuckanut Dr) to Skagit County and more backroads southbound.
