PNWR has been invited to join a fun rallye hosted by the MG Club. Let's show our PNWR PCA pride! The route is entirely on public paved roads. The event is suitable for all vehicles and driver skill levels. It is a laid back and casual "gimmick rallye". The challenge is to spot and record the answers to questions based on signs and objects found along the way. Just follow turn-by-turn route instructions, devilishly laid out by the Rallyemaster. The mission is to make you laugh as you attempt to find the answers to the rather silly questions, riddles, and trivia. Somewhat like a scavenger hunt. This is not a traditional time-speed-distance event. Speed is NOT recommended. No special knowledge nor equipment is needed. Just enjoy your car, your companion, the company of fellow enthusiasts and some incredible roads & scenery. This fun challenge may test your relationship with your navigator. We will NOT be stuck in bad traffic through the Tulip Fields (as many have experienced) There will be prizes based on your ability to answer the questions. Route sheets will be scored upon our return. There will be multiple route sheets and different questions. We will not be running together like a PNWR Tour. Although we will see each other continually! More Information: https://www.tuliprallye.org/
We will have reserved parking for the Porsche club, but they need us to roll in together! Please meet in the parking lot at: Applebees 188 Cascade Mall Dr, Burlington, WA 98233 8:15 Meet 8:45 Roll in together 9:30 Drivers Meeting 9:45 Rallye Begins
We recommend you pack a picnic lunch to enjoy along the way or plan to eat at the end of the rallye while the organizers are tabulating scores and preparing to give awards (just keep track of time). There are plenty of place we could go together in groups.
