Join us for the “Let’s Wander on Whidbey” tour – our Second 2023-2024 "winter" tour. Designed for Members who drive your Porsche year 'round! Our tour gamely goes from north to south on Whidbey with minimum travel on WA-20 and WA-525. In other words, you’ll see the Whidbey that is not regularly seen. We’ll visit the parks and beaches less travelled until our tour destination: Langley – a charming town with food, refreshments, and lots of arts and crafts shopping. And gelato, wonderful creamy gelato. An ambitious tour – there’s lots to see on Whidbey! Prefer not to drive your Porsche? That's OK for these winter tours! Lunch will be at one of several local restaurants in Langley that will be provided to those who register for the tour.
Be advised, to get back "home", you'll either take the Clinton ferry back to the "mainland" or drive back north up to US 20 and back to I-5 South so that means this tour is an all day affair!
Schedule
Arrive at the staging area starting at 8:00 AM, but no later than 8:30!
Driver's meeting at 8:30 AM
First group departs at 9:00 AM, followed by other groups with 10 minutes spacing each
Lunch in Langley at one of several small restaurants for those who choose that option. See the choices later on when final details are published.
Directions to start point
I-5 North/South, take Exit 200. Turn West on 88th St. NE. Turn right on Quil Ceda Blvd. McDonald’s is approx. 1 mile on the left just past the main entrance to Tulalip Casino.
