About this event
Join us for an early fall tour over the Cascades and through two canyons enroute to an outstanding winery/restaurant. This tour will take you over beautiful Chinook pass on Highway 410. We will stop at the top and take in the beautiful views before we depart for the Yakima River lower canyon. This windy road along the river makes for an exciting drive. After passing through Ellensburg we will follow the Swiftwater Canyon ending at Swiftwater Cellars in beautiful Suncadia Resort. Swiftwater Cellars is known for it’s excellent wines, fine dinning in a casual relaxed atmosphere, with stunning mountain views. The tour ends here after a no host social. This tour was canceled last year due to the forest fires, which caused Hwy 410 to be closed for a couple weeks, so hope you can make it this year and that we don't again experience dangerous forest fires (or early snow over Chinook Pass)!!
